Close Up Magic

 When this gimmick is placed over the bottle full of liquid, and the bottle is inverted, the liquid will stays inside the bottle. You can push a toothpick or match stick through the neck of the bottle and these will float up to the top of the liquid, thereby implying that there is nothing covering the neck of the bottle and that the liquid has magical suspended inside the bottle. This gimmick is designed to fit over soft drink bottles. Six gimmicks are supplied and a instruction sheet .

A very simple yet effective close up effect.   A closed dice shaker is said to contain a coloured dice and this is shaken and the dice can be heard to rattle. Four coloured dice are shown and by a quick elimination by a member of you audience one colour is chosen. The shaker is opened and the dice is thrown out to reveal it matches the selected colour. A felt case is taken from his pocket and from this is removed a shiny black plaque. This is studded with four diamonds and this is said to be the selected card, the four of diamonds NO. The plaque is turned over to show a single diamond not correct. turning it over again now the six of diamonds wrong. Then the three of diamonds. dismayed the plaques are returned to the case, but still not convinced he has failed it is taken out again showing the three but turns it over revealing seven diamonds set out in a figure seven.   An amazing miracle that smacks, just a little bit, of black magic Effect:. A spectator chooses a card from the pack and is asked to write the name of the card on a pad. Alas you do not have anything to write with. Undaunted you tear off a piece of paper, crumple it and ask the spectator to hold it to their forehead. At the same time you ask them to concentrate on their card. You show a small glass disc, explaining that it is a flat crystal ball. You place the crumpled paper upon it. Touch it with a cigarette or a match. Then whoosh, the paper explodes in a burst of light and there, engraved upon the glass, is the name of the chosen card.   Try to imagine what is inside this small tin? You give it a shake and you feel something inside. Perhaps you may it’s a ring or coin. But, after you look inside the only thing you see is NOTHING!   The effect: a spectator is given a small metal box and instructed to shake the ox then try to guess what is inside by the sound alone. The performer states no one has ever correctly guessed the contents of the box. After the guess, the spectator removes the lid and to everyone’s surprise the box is seen to contain nothing at all.

 You display 5 coloured rods and a small metal tube with a lid. The metal tube is held in the left hand. Turning your body and head away from the tube you request that a spectator select one of the coloured sticks and place it in the tube. They are then asked to place the lid on the tube. They are also asked to HIDE the remaining sticks in a pocket or purse, etc. You turn back around. Concentrate for a moment and then HAND THE TUBE TO THE SPECTATOR TO HOLD. You stare at them and concentrate. Suddenly you tell them that the colour they selected was ….. Well, whatever the color was that they selected!!! The Psychic Colour Sticks is a wonderful newly crafted ‘old’ Mind Reading effect that has been unavailable for many years.
