The Crown is shown complete with the jewels. The jewels fall out whilst being dusted by one of your helpers. The jewels are placed in a jewel box for safekeeping. When the box is opened the jewels have vanished. Three sponge balls are produced from the folds of a handkerchief and are placed on the crown as a substitute. But these won’t fool the Queen so the jewels are made to appear magically in the Crown.
